Tournaments

Savile Bowmen hold two regular tournaments throughout the year. Our Indoor tournament, usually held on the first Sunday of February, is a world record status double Portsmouth. Our outdoor tournament, usually held on the first Sunday in July, is a world record status FITA 70M which seeds the following olympic head-to-head knockout round.

Both Tournaments are run by an experienced committee with years of successful shoots behind them. Our equipment is kept to a high standard; bosses are regularly replaced and custom made 'H' frame stands are used to minimise arrow damage. We also use a specially developed computer system created by one of our members to ensure accurate and rapid collation of results. Home-made refreshments are on sale and all locations include access to toilet facilities.
